My University Portfolio
Education
During 2019-2022 I attended University of the West of England (UWE) studying Architecture Technology and Design. Graduated in 2022 with a Bachelors Degree in Science: Architecture Technology and Design with Honors. The skills I learned and improved my skills in software, design, regulations and technical language. The most useful of all was meeting professionals in the field while working with the peers that I met in university. This helped me learn about the industry, BIM and develop my teamworking skills.
During the pandemic, students were asked to design a prefabricated space that could be transported and assembled were needed in the world. As everything was set online, students were encouraged to use multiple software applications in order to portray their idea and design for presentation.
Second part of Year 2 were focused on renewable energy and the project required to design and produce ideas for a potential residential house project. Name eco-house was provided by the client requirements and interest in renewable energy as well as carbon footprint.
A remodeling project that had a purpose to learn Autodesk Revit and be introduced into BIM. Students had an ability to use their own ideas for interior design and thermal leaf construction.
This was my biggest project in university. Students only got given brief location of the project grounds and got to pick their own client briefs and software in order to produce a complicated and sophisticated design. My project was based on my technical report dissertation and used in it to showcase potential use for the idea of Biophilic Design in United Kingdom.
